These paintings evoke memories of an Italian past, the labour and trade of The Renaissance artist and the contextual relationship between the craftsman and his contemporaries.

Miriam has used images of frescoes, costumes, and character to capture the atmosphere of an artistic period which was rich in colour, texture and meaning.

This collection of Oil Paintings was inspired by a painting trip to Italy by the artist.
