Miriam Cronin
Originally from Salthill, Miriam now lives, teaches and paints in Barna. Miriam studied Art at G.M.I.T and at The National College of Art in Dublin.Miriam set up her own teaching studio in Naas, Co. Kildare in 1982, followed by her Barna (Paint Box) studio in 1990 and the Terryland (Paint Box) Studio in the year 1995. Miriam has introduced many hundreds of adults and children to Painting. The Paint Box is the largest private Art teaching studio in Ireland. Miriam's skill as a teacher is well recognised and she has shared her painting skills and brought encouragement to many aspiring artists.
Miriam has exhibited her own work widely and has taken part in many group Exhibitions. Riflessioni Italiane - Italian Relections was her first solo Galway Exhibition at The Kenny Gallery.
