Tom Glendon
Tom Glendon set up his first studio in Shannon, Co. Clare in 1974, in 1982 he returned to his native Dublin where he continued to expand his field of expertise at a national and international level, and in 2003 set up another studio in Loughrea.For a long number of years his works of sculpture have been shown regularly in various commercial galleries and at annual group shows and the R H A. Among his commissions are:
- The Papal Altar, Phoenix Park, Dublin
- The Old Dalkey Head, Dalkey
- Iphigenia, UCD, Belfield
- Dublin Zoo, Phoenix Park
- Dun-Rath Group, Shankill
- R.T.É., Donnybrook, Dublin
His first solo exhibition was held at The Kenny Gallery in 2005.
