Joan Webb

Joan Webb is the wife of the well-known artist Kenneth Webb, and their daughter Susan Mary is also well established as an animal and landscape artist.

They run the Irish School of Landscape painting, with studios in Ballinaboy, near Clifden and in Dublin. Joan and Kenneth have two sons and another daughter, so it is only of recent years that she has been able to devote a great deal of her time to painting.

Connemara is her favourite painting area and trees always hold a great fascination for her. Joan has exhibited widely and has had two solo exhibitions at the Stanley Art Gallery in Clifden and many solo exhibitions in the Kenny Gallery.

She participated in a three-person exhibition at the Henricks Gallery, Dublin and a four person one in Belfast. She has exhibited in the Royal Hibernian Academy, Royal West of England Academy, Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, The Society of Women Artists and many other galleries.
