Niall Naessens

Born in Dublin in 1961. Attended National College of Art & Design 1978-1983. Studied etching at the Graphic Studio Print Workshop 1983-1986. Worked in London 1986-1990. Artist in residence in City Arts Centre, Dublin, from 1991-1993. From 1991 to date he has worked as a professional printmaker at the Graphic Studio Workshop in Dublin. In 2004 he moved to Brandon in Kerry and has set up his studio there with a view to concentrating more on painting. Director of the Graphic Studio Dublin 2001 to 2006.
